Steam client beta adds framerate counter

A subtle update to the Steam Client beta has added a long-requested framerate counter to Steam Overlay.

PC gamers have been requesting this for some time, after previously having to use a tool like Fraps if they wanted to check their game’s framerate. Of course, many now are asking for the FPS counter to be customizable in both color and display position, but just having one is a step in the right direction.

In addition to the framerate counter, several fixes, adjustments to its broadcasting features and optimizations were added as well.
