Bungie’s Destiny team has outlined its priorities for the 1.1.2 update that’s currently being coded.
The team calls increasing vault space as a key goal, meaning that players who accumulate items won’t need to micro-manage their inventories as much. Raid bugs and Strike difficulty balances are also on the next update’s to-do list, according to community manager David Dague in a post on the Destiny blog.
Meanwhile, further in-game display and audio options will allow players to better customize the way Destiny looks and sounds.
The full list of tweaks:
- Raid Fixes: Atheon and Crota are uncooperative, so the worst bugs will get tackled.
- Audio and Visual: Not everyone wants to see or hear a game in the same way, so Bungie’s looking at providing more options.
- PVP Ammunition: The Crucible team wants to change the way ammo crates dictate a battle’s flow.
- Strikes: Some missions are successfully completed less than others, inspiring Bungie to look at why people quit.
No word on an update timeline was given.
Despite critical opinion upon release, Destiny has won many awards from the industry, most recently the BAFTA Best Game Award.
