You won’t have to pay for Mortal Kombat X’s DLC characters to play as them today, according to series creator Ed Boon.

However, there is a catch — you don’t get the character whenever you want him and her — but the “Challenge Towers” feature will have a “Premiere Tower” challenge that includes a DLC character.

Mortal Kombat X is available now on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.

First eSports champion

Dominique McLean (cR Sonic Fox) won the eSport League’s Mortal Kombat X Fatal tournament Saturday. Malik (MIT) Terry took second, and Carl (Perfect Legend) White placed third.

Destiny’s house of wolves expansion coming may 19th

Destiny Beta

Destiny’s second expansion, House of Wolves, is coming on May 19th, according to publisher Activision.

House of Wolves is the game’s second and final expansion in its $34.99 Expansion Pass, but the two expansions are $19.99 each if purchased separately.

Bungie is aiming to “lessen the grind and get players to the fun parts of their arsenal faster,” according to Bungie designer Luke Smith.

Following House of Wolves, Bungie will put out a “major content release” for Destiny later this year, according to Activision’s February earnings call.
