According to developer Epic Games, Paragon’s first stress test will begin on April 28 and end on May 1. For the first phase, you should’ve received an email if you’ll eligible to participate.
A second phase will begin on May 5, lasting until May 8. To participate, you’ll need to sign up for the open beta before May 1.
“This test is a precursor to the larger free weekends coming soon. Because it’s a stress test, you may encounter connection issues and long matchmaking times.”
-Epic Games, in an email to beta players
The Cary, North Carolina-based developer is offering a double XP boost if you play during those weekends, and existing Boosts will stack with the extra bonus.
More beta weekends will be announced in the future before the game’s June 7 release date.
Paragon will be free-to-play with a $60 retail version featuring a lot of paid content.
