Ubisoft invents fart-smelling VR tech for South Park
Ubisoft has truly embraced the spirit of South Park by creating the Nosulus Rift – a mask that pipes the smell of farts into your nose as you create them in South Park: The Fractured But Whole.
The Rift will be travelling to Cologne, Germany for Gamescom this week.
No Man’s Sky: Hello Games working on ‘critical issues’, brings in new QA team
No Man’s Sky developer Hello Games has laid out its plan to fix the game’s problems.
Hello is working on fixes for the most “critical issues,” with a patch coming for them in the “near future.”
The team has also brought in a QA group that’s larger than the entire dev team to spot bugs before they make its way into No Man’s retail version.
Hello Games has also offered up workarounds for certain issues:
- If you believe you’re stuck, or can’t reach your ship, you can jetpack forever while pushing against any surface.
- If you’ve made a mistake, you can revert to any of your two previous saves through the Options menu.
- If you’ve left your ship somewhere inaccessible, you can summon it from landing pads or beacons found at most buildings/points of interest (marked by question marks).
The team is also aware of pre-order bonuses not being received, incorrect ship games, and some pre-order ships leaving players stranded.
