Ishihara: Pokemon Company will support NX
The Pokemon Company boss Tsunekazu Ishihara has confirmed that the company will support Nintendo’s NX console.
In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Ishihara said that the console is “trying to change the concept of what it means to be a home console device or a handheld device.”
New Pokemon Sun/Moon trailer details trainer customization, version-exclusive Pokemon
The Pokemon Company has released a new trailer for Pokemon Sun & Moon, detailing a few of the game’s new features and a couple of version-exclusive Pokemon.
Pokemon Sun will include Passimian, a new Fighting type creature, while Moon players can get introduced to Normal/Psychic type Pokemon Oranguru. Rockruff’s version-exclusive evolutions were also showcased, with Lycanroc’s Midday form being a Sun-exclusive, and its Midnight form being a Moon-exclusive.
The trailer also showcased the games’ suite of trainer customization options, and Pokemon-exclusive Z-Moves for Pikachu and Eevee.
Pokemon Sun & Moon’s Pokemon Refresh feature was also shown off, allowing trainers to care for and clean up their Pokemon after they get dirty during battle. Status conditions like paralysis can also be remedied by using this feature.
Pokemon Sun & Moon will launch on Nintendo 3DS on Nov. 18.
Project Scorpio will run Microsoft-made games at native 4K
Microsoft’s Project Scorpio will run Microsoft Studios-developed games at a native 4K resolution.

Kojima calls out Metal Gear Survive’s zombies
During a Tokyo Game Show stage presentation for Death Stranding, Metal Gear series creator Hideo Kojima made several comments on Konami’s zombie action game Metal Gear Survive.
Kojima distanced himself from the forthcoming title, saying “that’s nothing to do with me!”
“The Metal Gear games are about political fiction and espionage. Where do zombies fit in with that?”

Kojima was joined on stage by former Metal Gear character and mechanical designer Yoji Shinkawa, who’s now working on Death Stranding at Kojima Productions. He also denied involvement in the game.
