Ahead of the 2016-17 NBA season’s kickoff tonight, 2K Sports has used its titular NBA game to simulate the results – and the outcome doesn’t really add much to the conversation.
The Golden State Warriors will face off against the Cleveland Cavaliers for the third straight year, according to the game, with the Cavs winning the series in seven games. Both teams will lead their respective conferences, with Lebron James taking home the MVP award.
Other notable details include strong seasons from the Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Lakers. Although the Lakers won’t make the playoffs, first round draft pick Brandon Ingram will win Rookie of the Year.
The Oklahoma City Thunder will make the playoffs as the eighth seed, providing Russell Westbrook with an opportunity for revenge on former teammate Kevin Durant.
