Nintendo will stream Switch presentation in January
Nintendo will unveil more information about its Switch gaming platform via a presentation on Jan. 12.
The news was delivered in a presentation to financial analysts in Tokyo by company president Tatsumi Kimishima. According to Kimishima, major details will be shared during the Tokyo event. Sampling events for invited media, partners, and consumers in the U.S. and Europe after the presentation at later dates. The public will also have opportunities to participate at hands-on events around the same time.
The event will stream at 11 p.m. ET (8 p.m. PT, 4 a.m. Jan. 13 GMT). GameSentral will have complete coverage in a special edition of the GameSentral Rewind.
For Honor single-player requires constant internet connection
According to a Ubisoft representative, the single player portion of For Honor will require an online connection to play.
“We can confirm that For Honor is an always online experience. Some elements of progression, which is hosted online, are shared across story and multiplayer modes. Players will need to be connected to the Internet at all times to play For Honor.”

For Honor is set to launch Feb. 14 on PS4, Windows, and Xbox One.
