Roccat’s newest gaming mouse promises zero lag

Despite the added convenience and freedom of wireless mice, gamers typically rely on their wired counterparts for one reason: lag. Roccat claims to have solved this problem with the Owl-Eye optical sensor, which claims to translate motions on screen with a 1:1 accuracy. This is one of four new products being shown off by the Hamburg, Germany based company at CES.

The Leadr is Roccat’s latest wireless gaming mouse, and the company claims it has “virtually zero latency.” It comes with a charging dock and a detachable charging cable (that technically also makes it wire-capable).

The two remaining mice are wired updates on the Roccat Kone line, each with the new Owl-Eye sensor. The Kone EMP is designed for players with medium to large hands, while the Kone Pure 2017 is made for slimmer hands with a 0.19-pound frame.
