Nintendo announces Zelda: Breath of the Wild season pass
Nintendo has announced an “Expansion Pass” for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, offering the first DLC in a main series Legend of Zelda game.
Available starting Mar. 3 for $19.99, the Expansion Pass will offer two extra content packs to be released later this year, neither of which can be purchased individually. The details of each are:
Pack 1- Summer 2017
- A new Cave of Trials challenge
- Hard mode
- “A new feature for the in-game map”
Pack 2- Holiday 2017
- A new dungeon
- A new “original story”
- Additional challenges
Purchasing the Expansion Pass will also immediately unlock three extra treasure chests in the game’s Great Plateau location. Two will contain “useful items” while the third will include a “shirt with a Nintendo Switch logo which Link can wear during his adventure.”
Series producer Eiji Aonuma created a video explaining the Expansion Pass, saying that the aim is to offer more for those who have finished the main game to play well after release.
Injustice 2 trailer reveals playable Poison Ivy, Cheetah, Catwoman
NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. have released a new trailer for Injustice 2 that confirms Catwoman, Cheetah, and Poison Ivy will all be playable characters in the upcoming DC fighting game.
