PlatinumGames’ sci-fi shooter Vanquish will come to Windows on May 25.
After prolonged testing by publisher Sega, the cult classic will come exclusively to Steam. The Shinji Mikami game will come with a 25 percent discount for those that bought Bayonetta’s PC port last month.
All pre-orders will get the Digital Deluxe edition, which includes a digital art book, five-track soundtrack sampler, exclusive wallpapers, and Vanquish avatars for your Steam profile. It will only exist as a pre-order bonus, and will revert to the standard edition on release day.
Like Bayonetta, the Vanquish port will support 4K resolutions, include “extensive” graphics options, and full support for keyboard and mouse play.
However, there may be more to come on this front.
“It was great to see the positive response from our community to the Bayonetta PC launch last month, and we are pleased that we are in a position to be able to announce Vanquish, another of our highly requested back catalogue titles. There’s more to come from SEGA in this space, so stay tuned for further announcements.”
