Destiny 2 couldn’t run at 60FPS on PS4 Pro
Destiny 2 will run at 4K and 30 frames per second on the PlayStation 4 Pro because of CPU constraints.
“I don’t want people to continue to hope, we’re going to be matter-of-fact about that stuff.
“The PS4 Pro is super-powerful, but it couldn’t run our game at 60. Our game’s this rich physics simulation, with collision and players, networking, etc. It wouldn’t run – not enough horsepower there yet.”
-Luke Smith, Destiny 2 director
Note: GameSentral will have a special GameSentral Rewind this weekend on Destiny 2.
